SELF-LOVE IS THE BEST LOVEđź’™



Here's one of my personal experiences of self-realization :

I'd like to talk about the film CATWOMAN (2004) starring Halle Berry. Some of you might not have watched it, but you'll eventually understand my thoughts as you proceed.

I saw this movie for the first time in 2012 when I was 15 years old. Although I liked it but I wasn't satisfied with the ending. Because the protagonist gives up the opportunity to unite with the hero, and chooses freedom. In my opinion then as a teenager, I hoped to watch the woman cherish the love of her man and the couple getting hitched. So, it wasn't a happy ending for me.

The reminiscence of this film was long covered by many other memories until yesterday, when I watched the same film again after 9 years.

And I observed the protagonist choosing independence, solitude and freedom over inter-dependence, couple life and love.

 But then I thought to myself, she did choose love.........SELF-LOVE.đź’š

♡ Love, which made her embrace her true self

♡ Love, which drove her from "feeling worthless" to "feeling worthy"

♡ Love, which made her choose who she wants to be

♡ Love, which set her soul free.

And I realized there couldn't have been a more satisfactory ending.

IN A LAND FARAWAY FROM HERE.....

Far away somewhere in a parallel universe, There might be a reality where he is solely mine to immerse, If not here then at least there, I might be happy with the love we share. The words he spoke, the jokes he made Will still make me laugh for another decade, But if only i could also hear, what i wanted him to say, I could replay it in my head, all night and day. I know he is out there, moving on in life for real, Does he also think of me, like i think of him as ideal ? I am sure he does, whether he says it or not, I might have had an impact on him and stirred a thought, If i could bend the rules of physics and go back in time, I wouldn't have tried to know him or let our paths align, Or better yet, i would travel to another universe once more, Where we would be together and free forevermore.
