IN A LAND FARAWAY FROM HERE.....

Far away somewhere in a parallel universe,
There might be a reality where he is solely mine to immerse,

If not here then at least there,
I might be happy with the love we share.

The words he spoke, the jokes he made
Will still make me laugh for another decade,

But if only i could also hear, what i wanted him to say,
I could replay it in my head, all night and day.

I know he is out there, moving on in life for real,
Does he also think of me, like i think of him as ideal ?

I am sure he does, whether he says it or not,
I might have had an impact on him and stirred a thought,

If i could bend the rules of physics and go back in time,
I wouldn't have tried to know him or let our paths align,

Or better yet, i would travel to another universe once more,
Where we would be together and free forevermore.
